Turnitin’s AI writing detection capability

Recently, Turnitin added AI detection capability which will allow academic staff to see what components of a submission are AI-generated.

Within the Turnitin Feedback Studio, academic staff will have a view of the AI Writing report which will highlight the content and show the total percentage of the submission generated by AI. Students, however, will not be able to see the AI writing detection indicator and will only continue to see the overall Similarity match percentage in their submissions.
