What is a USI?
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number made up of ten numbers and letters. You only need to create this once and it stays with you for life.
As a student undertaking a Higher Education course, you will need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment or to receive commonwealth financial assistance. The USI will give you access to an online record of your nationally recognised training in the form of a USI transcript.
You can read more information about the USI by visiting the Australian Government website at www.usi.gov.au
